1. FOR WORKING IN A COMPANY OR LIMITED PARTNERSHIP . (Non-B)
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATTION FOR VISA OR VISA STATUS ALTERATION (NON-B): WORK OR BUSINESS  
The application must be submit more than 15 days before visa expiration and, in case of overstaying in Thailand, application could not be submitted.

  1.  1.1 Form TM.86 for the foreigner, who has Tourist and Transit Visa and applies for Visa Status Alteration and applies for non-immigrant visa; or
      1.2 Form TM.87 for the foreigner, who enters into Thailand without visa, but is allowed to stay in Thailand with a permit of stay for a period of 15 day, 30 days, 90 days and applies for
     non-immigrant visa                                    
  2. A copy of passport pages (for example, personal information page, last entries stamp, visa sticker and extension stamp (if any) and departure card (Form TM.6))
  3. Either one 4x6 cm photograph or one 2 inch size photograph
  4. Application fee of Baht 2,000
  5. The Company’s letter explaining necessity of employing of foreigner and requesting for cooperation in obtaining Visa or Visa Status Alteration (please specify the company’s name, applicant’s name, job title, knowledge, skills, competency and reasons for Visa or Visa Status Alteration (NON-B)) (Subject: Visa or Visa Status Alteration / Attention: Immigration Commissioner)
  6. An employment certification (the Labor Department’s application form)
  7. A copy of the Company Certificate (certified by the Registrar not more than 6 months)
  8. A copy of the Company registration certificate (Form Paw.Kor.0401)
  9. A copy of the Value Added Tax (VAT) registration certificate (Form Paw.Por.20) and Memorandum of Association (Form Paw.Por.01) (List of Shareholders (Bor.Aor.Jor.5) certified by the Registrar not more than 6 months)
  10. A copy of the latest financial statements. (certified by Ministry of Commerce or  Revenue Department)
  11. A copy of the Company income tax returns (Form Paw Ngor Dor.50) (certified  by Ministry of Commerce or  Revenue Department, together with the receipt)
  12. A copy of the evidence of education and certificate of employment issued by the foreigner’s former employer (must be translated into Thai or English and certified by local or overseas Embassy or Consulate of the foreigner and by the Legalization Division, Ministry of  Foreign Affairs of Thailand) (For more information, please call 0-2575-1056-9)
  13. A copy of the list of withholding income tax of Thai employees (Form Paw Ngor Dor.1) (for the past 3 months, together with the attached list of all Thai employees, showing the first to the last names, and the receipt)
  14. A cooperation letter from BOI (in the case of promotion by BOI), IEAT or PTT
  15. Approximately 6 or 7 color photographs of the Company’s building, Company’s signname, environment of workplace where the employees are working, office desks or building or warehouse, which show the nature of work
  16. If the amount charged for water supply and electricity consumption is not shown in the revenue form in page 5, line 3 (Paw Ngor Dor.50), the lease agreement, water supply, electricity and telephone bills (for the past 3 months) must be presented.

Remarks

  • The Applicant must appear in person every time.
  • The Applicant must sign to certify on every page of the Applicant's documents.
  • The authorized signatory of the Company or Limited Partnership must sign to certify all corporate documents and have them stamped with the official company/limited partnership seal on every page.
  • To be convenient and for speedy service, the Applicant for visa or visa status alteration must arrange and submit a complete set of documents in proper order and must prepare the originals as proof.

2. FOR FULFILLING THE DUTY OR RESPONSIBILITY AS AN IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER OF FOREIGNER WHO IS WORKING IN A COMPANY OR LIMITED PARTNERSHIP  
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR VISA OR VISA STATUS ALTERATION (NON-O) TO FULFILL THE DUTY OR RESPONSIBILITY AS AN IMMEDIATE MEMBER OF A FOREIGN FAMILY IN THAILAND.  
The application must be submit more than 15 days before visa expiration and, in case of overstaying in Thailand, application could not be submitted.

  1. Form TM.86 for the foreigner, who has Tourist and Transit Visa and applies for Visa Status Alteration and applies for non-immigrant visa; or
  2. Form TM.87 for the foreigner, who enters into Thailand without visa, but is allowed to stay in Thailand with a permit of stay for a period of 30 days, 90 days and applies for non-immigrant visa.
  3. A copy of passport pages (for example, personal information page, last entries stamp, visa sticker and extension stamp (if any) and departure card (Form TM.6))
  4. Either one 4x6 cm photograph or one 2 inch size photograph
  5. Application fee of Baht 2,000.
  6. A copy of passport and a copy of work permit of the person who fulfills the duty or responsibility in Thailand 
  7. The Company’s registration certificate, with the details of the company’s business objectives (certified by the Registrar not more than 6 months)
  8. Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate (Form Paw.Por.20)
  9. List of the Shareholders (Form Bor.Or.Jor.5) (certified by the Registrar not more than 6 months)  
  10. - A copy of evidence proving that the applicant is father, mother or children or certificate of marriage or birth certificate;* or
    -  Letter from a government office, embassy or consulate, certifying that the applicant is a member of the referred family, letter of certification from the Department of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs*
     * (Documents under 9.1 and 9.2 must be translated into Thai or English and certified by local or overseas Embassy or Consulate of the foreigner and by the Legalization Division, Ministry of  Foreign Affairs of Thailand) (For more information, please call 0-2575-1056-9)
  11. A copy of the list of withholding income tax of Thai employees (Form Paw Ngor Dor.1) (for the past 3 months, together with the attached list of all Thai employees, showing the first to the last names, and the receipt)
  12. A copy of the list of withholding income tax of the foreigner (Form Paw Ngor Dor. 91) for the latest year (If you cannot present it, please submit an explanatory letter.) (Attention: Immigration Commissioner)

Remarks  

  1. Both of the Applicant and the accompanied person must appear in persons every time.
  2. The accompanied person must have a permit to stay in Thailand for a period of one year.
  3. The Applicant must sign to certify on every page of the Applicant’s documents.
  4. In case of children, adopted children,or spouse’s children ,The said children,adopted children and spouse’s children must not be married,must live with the alien as a part of the family and must not be over 20 years of age.
  5. In case of parents, The father or mother must be 50 years of age or over.
  6. The authorized person of the academic institute must sign to certify all documents and have them stamped with the official seal on every page.
  7. To be convenient and for speedy service, the Applicant for visa or visa status alteration must arrange and submit a complete set of documents in proper order and must prepare the originals as proof

3. FOR PROVIDING SUPPORT TO OR BEING A DEPENDANT OF A THAI CITIZEN OR PERSON HAVING RESIDENCY IN THAILAND  
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR VISA OR VISA STATUS ALTERATION (NON-O): FOR A FAMILY MEMBER OF A THAI (APPLICABLE ONLY PARENTS, SPOUSE OR CHILD. 
The application must be submit more than 15 days before visa expiration and, in case of overstaying in Thailand, application could not be submitted. 

  1. 1.1 Form TM.86 for the foreigner, who has Tourist and Transit Visa and applies for Visa Status Alteration and applies for non-immigrant visa; or
    1.2 Form TM.87 for the foreigner, who enters into Thailand without visa, but is allowed to stay in Thailand with a permit of stay for a period of 15 day, 30 days, 90 days and applies for non-immigrant visa.
  2. A copy of passport pages of the Applicant (for example, personal information page, last entries stamp, visa sticker and extension stamp (if any) and departure card (Form TM.6))
  3. Either one 4x6 cm photograph or one 2 inch size photograph
  4. Application fee of Baht 2,000
  5. 5.1 In case of a Thai citizen, please show:  A copy national ID card, a copy of house registration papers and a copy of employee’s or government officer’s ID card;
     5.2 In case of a foreigner with a permit to reside in Thailand or a person who has become a Thai naturalized citizen, please show:  residency certificate, alien registration certificate, work permit, a copy of passport and house registration and a copy of documents showing Thai naturalization.  
  6. 6.1 Evidence proving that the applicant is father, mother or children or birth certificate; or
    6.2 Letter from a government office, embassy or consulate, certifying that the applicant is a member of the referred family; guarantee letter from the Department of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Documents under 6.1 and 6.2 must be translated into Thai or English and certified by local or overseas Embassy or Consulate of the foreigner and by the Legalization Division, Ministry of  Foreign Affairs of Thailand) (For more information, please call 0-2575-1056-9)
  7. In case of father is a foreigner: showing an official notarized document from a court of law certifying that child is biological offspring of the foreign father. 
  8. The following evidence of income must be submitted.
     8.1 A guarantee letter from the local or overseas Embassy or Consulate, proving the monthly income of the Applicant not less than Baht 40,000* per month; or
     8.2 A guarantee letter in Thai language from the commercial bank in Thailand (Attention: Immigration Commissioner) and a copy of all entries of the applicant’s passbook showing that the applicant has a savings or fixed deposit account of not less than Baht 400,000*(Documents under 8.1and 8.2 must be issued and updated to be the same date of the Application and all documents must be in the Applicant’s name.)

Remarks  

  1. Both of the Applicant and Thai citizen or person having residency in Thailand must appear in persons   
  2. If the supported person is a child, he/she must not be married and reside as a member of the referred family.
  3. If the dependent person is father or mother, he/she must be over 50 years of age.  If the dependent person is a child, he/she must not be married, reside as a member of the referred family and must not be over 20 years of age.
  4. The Applicant must sign to certify on every page of the Applicant’s documents.
  5. To be convenient and for speedy service, the Applicant for visa or visa status alteration must arrange and submit a complete set of documents in proper order and must prepare the originals as proof.

4. FOR PROVIDING SUPPORT TO OR BEING A DEPENDANT OF A THAI CITIZEN OR PERSON HAVING RESIDENCY IN THAILAND (SPOUSE VISA)  
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED MORE THAN 15 DAYS BEFORE VISA EXPIRATION IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR PROVIDING SUPPORT TO OR BEING A DEPENDANT OF A THAI CITIZEN OR PERSON HAVING RESIDENCY IN THAILAND (SPOUSE VISA) (NON-O) 
In case of overstaying in Thailand, application could not be submitted.

  1. 1.1 Form TM.86 for the foreigner, who has Tourist and Transit Visa and applies for Visa Status Alteration and applies for non-immigrant visa; or
    1.2 Form TM.87 for the foreigner, who enters into Thailand without visa, but is allowed to stay in Thailand with a permit of stay for a period of 15 day, 30 days, 90 days and applies for non-immigrant visa.
  2. A copy of passport pages of the Applicant (for example, personal information page, last entries stamp, visa sticker and extension stamp (if any) and departure card (Form TM.6))
  3. Either one 4x6 cm photograph or one 2 inch size photograph
  4. Application fee of Baht 2,000
  5. 5.1 In case of a Thai citizen, please show:  A copy national ID card, a copy of house registration papers and a copy of employee’s or government officer’s ID card;or
    5.2 In case of a foreigner with a permit to reside in Thailand or a person who has become a Thai naturalized citizen, please show:  residency certificate, alien registration certificate, work permit, a copy of passport and house registration and a copy of documents showing Thai naturalization. 
  6. 6.1 In case of marriage registered in Thailand, please show:  6.1.1 Marriage certificate (Form Kor Ror.2)
  7. 6.1.2 Marriage certificate (Form Kor Ror.3)
    6.1.3 A copy of letter certifying marital status before registration of marriage or a copy of letter certifying that the applicant is single (In absence of such letter, a copy thereof can be obtained from the District Office where the marriage was registered.)*or
    6.2 In case of marriage registered in foreign country, please show: Family status registration (Form Kor Ror.22) and marriage certificate registered in overseas country
    6.3 A letter from a government office, embassy or consulate, certifying that the applicant is a member of the referred family*
     *(Documents under 6.1.3, 6.2 and 6.3 must be translated into Thai or English and certified by local or overseas Embassy or Consulate of the foreigner and by the Legalization Division, Ministry of  Foreign Affairs of Thailand) (For more information, please call 0-2575-1056-9)
  8. 7.If husband is foreigner, the following evidence of income must be submitted.
    7.1 A guarantee letter from the local or overseas Embassy or Consulate, proving the monthly pension of the Applicant not less than Baht 40,000* per month; or  
    7.2 A guarantee letter in Thai language from the commercial bank in Thailand (Attention: Immigration Commissioner) and a copy of all entries of the applicant’s passbook showing that the applicant has a saving or fixed deposit account of not less than Baht 400,000*
     (Documents under 7.1and 7.2 must be issued and updated to be the same date of the Application and all documents must be in the Applicant’s name.)
  9. If husband is of Thai nationality, a certificate of employment must be submitted (certified by the head of his department not more than one month). 
  10. Approximately 4 photographs of wedding ceremony or family pictures

Remarks 

  1. In filing the application, both husband and wife must appear in persons every time.
  2. The Applicant must sign to certify on every page of the Applicant’s documents.
  3. To be convenient and for speedy service, the Applicant for visa or visa status alteration must arrange and submit a complete set of documents in proper order and must prepare the originals as proof  

5. FOR RETIREMENT PURPOSES -- 50 YEARS OLD
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR VISA OR VISA STATUS ALTERATION (NON-O): FOR RETIREMENT PURPOSES.  
The application must be submitted more than 15 days before visa expiration and, in case of overstaying in Thailand, application could not be submitted.

  1. 1.1 Form TM.86 for the foreigner, who has Tourist and Transit Visa and applies for Visa Status Alteration and applies for non-immigrant visa; or
     1.2 Form TM.87 for the foreigner, who enters into Thailand without visa, but is allowed to stay in Thailand with a permit of stay for a period of 15 day, 30 days, 90 days and applies for non-immigrant visa.
  2. A copy of passport pages (for example, personal information page, last entries stamp, visa sticker and extension stamp (if any) and departure card (Form TM.6))
  3. Either one 4x6 cm photograph or one 2 inch size photograph
  4. Application fee of Baht 2,000
  5. 5.1 A guarantee letter from the bank in Thailand in Thai language (Attention: Immigration Commissioner)*
    5.2 A copy  of all entries of the applicant’s passbook showing that the applicant has a savings or fixed deposit account  of not less than Baht 800,000* (all documents must be in the Applicant’s name). 
    5.3 Evidence of foreign currency fund transferred to Thailand*
     *(Documents under 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 must be issued and updated to be the same date of the Application and all documents must be in the Applicant’s name.)or
  6. A guarantee letter from the local or overseas Embassy or Consulate, proving the monthly pension of the Applicant not less than Baht 65,000 per month (together with reference documents showing the source of said monthly pension); or
  7. Evidence of deposited money under Clause 5 and evidence of income under Clause 6  (for one year) showing the total amount not less than Baht 800,000

Remarks

  1. The Applicant must appear in person every time. 
  2. The Applicant must sign to certify on every page of the Applicant’s documents.
  3. To be convenient and for speedy service, the Applicant for visa or visa status alteration must arrange and submit a complete set of documents in proper order and must prepare the originals as proof
